Athena's Bark Air Adventure

Gulfstream jet on runway beside Mercedes Benz van

We are finally in France! And enjoying life in the rural southwest near Toulouse (you can actually see stars). We came down in a seven hour drive after recovering a few days at a Paris airport hotel. Whereas Laura flew commercially, Athena and I came in via an overnight charter flight with 8 or so other dogs and humans.

There were some problems with rain and a short runway so we had to leave early and take a detour to Bangor, Maine where there is a longer runway that could handle the heavier rain. Unfortunately, this involved an additional landing. Which Athena was not a fan of.

But, after some chill out drugs she was fine the rest of the trip. We sat across from a Portuguese water dog moving to the Netherlands and an English bulldog who had to hang out with the stewardesses.

Athena, enjoyed 384 and 1/2 treats including barkachinos and chompagnes (including those of the more discerning water dog).

Most people want to see the photos so here they are. Unfortunately, they are from my phone in a low light situation and with limited room for framing. So many will be soft-focus.
