Scouting Trip: Bordeaux and Toulouse 2

We just returned from a scouting trip to Bordeaux and switching our rental car for our leased car in Toulouse. On the way to Bordeaux we stopped in Montauban (nice) and on the way back to Toulouse we stopped in Agen (not as nice). The same went for the lunches in those two towns. We toured a home in Bordeaux and liked the neighborhood. Unfortunately, it had too many stairs.

Montauban

 

Here are the photos of Montauban from Laura. You can tell what is important to her. The town was mostly closed due to it being Sunday and a marathon taking place.

Bordeaux

 

We loved Bordeaux and are seriously considering buying a home there. It has the best transportation, entertainment, and architecture so far. It's a lot like Paris but warmer and less expensive. We stayed in the redeveloped docks area. But there is a large traditional centre as well.

Toulouse 2

 

In addition to swapping out the cars we toured a home in Toulouse. It was great but needed a little TLC on the outside. Plus, it was too far out. Anyway here are some images from our second trip to Toulouse on a chilly and cloudy day.
