Paris Trip - April 2026

We recently went to Paris for a concert by one of Laura's favorite bands (The Vaccines) and to do some shopping for Athena. Yes, Athena. Like New York, it's a great city. And like New York, it sucks getting in and out of. Saint Mande is the section we had an AirBnB in. It used to be a town in and of itself but was swallowed by the metropolis over the years. Imagine Decatur and Atlanta or College Park and Orlando.
On the way up we stopped overnight in Châteauroux. It was ok to nice. To be fair it was Sunday and everything was closed.
And on the way back we stopped in Clermont - Ferrand (the home of Michelin Tire) and stayed in a hotel near the rugby stadium. We liked it a lot and it's now a second-tier option for a permanent home. A big plus is that it has the best (non-live music) punk bar we have ever been in.
So, on to the photos.
