Procuring an e-bike in the Pyrenees

Thankfully, we will not need a car in Toulouse and will soon be car-free. However, there is one sad fact relevant to this. Toulouse public transport does not allow large dogs. So, while bike rental is included in the public transport, we still need to easily move Athena around.

Thus, we ordered a dog cart for her. To save attaching and un-attaching it continuously from rental bikes, Reuben procured an used e-bike via Leboncoin. This is like ebay except you can also find and secure housing on it.

Said e-bike is a Dutch one from the brand Stella (if you are interested). The truly interesting aspect was that the seller was a Dutch student interning in the Pyrenees. The bike is in great shape and it was inherited from her grandmother. Very Dutch.

The drive down to the Spanish and Andorran border area was wonderfully scenic. Reuben enjoyed driving over, through, and at times under the mountains to a resort ski village.

And here are the photos. Unfortunately some of the most spectacular views did not have parking spots. Still, these are nice.
